Package Manager

It is the replacement for the standard Install Package Files option under Game in the XMB. This allows you to install and delete the .pkg files and install the package files directory.   • Delete Package Files:- Delete package files from Storage Devices and your PS3

  2. Package Folder (dev_usb/packages)
  3. Standard Package Location (Standard Install Package Files locations)

Deleting Files:-

  • Highlight the file you would like to delete and press triangle. The sidebar should appear
  • Press CROSS on either Unlink or Unlink(Folder) (Both do the same thing for now)

INSTALL:-

  1. In the PS3 XMB go to Game menu
  2. Select Package Manager
  3. Install-Package Files
  4. Select PS3 System Storage
  5. Select Rebug-Toolbox-02.XX.XX.pkg

System Information: Displays Firmware version, Toolbox version, IP address, current LV2 Kernel, and Target ID type and free HDD space

QUIT: Quits Toolbox and returns you to PS3 XMB

RESTART SYSTEM:- Perform either a Full or Soft reboot od the PS3 system

  • Soft (LV2 Reboot Only)
  • Full (On/Off Cycle)

BOOT OTHER OS: Boot OtherOS with either your currently selected LV1 patches or easily apply ALL LV1 patches and boot

  • LV1 Patches: Apply All
  • LV1 Patches: Use current

TURN OFF SYSTEM: Shut down your PS3

SELECTOR

Toggle XMB CFW Settings:- Enable or Disable mysis’s XMB CFW settings plugin v0.1. The feature is available via Network Column on XMB after Enabled

Toggle COBRA Mode:- COBRA mode is disabled by default, this option can toggle COBRA mode to enable COBRA 7.55 payload on boot

Toggle PS2 Emulator:- To disable COBRA features for PS2 Games, toggle this option to restore Original emulators available via FULL version of Rebug Toolbox

LV1 PATCHES

A collection of LV1 patches that can be used for better compatibility with some PS3 tools. Any combination of these patches can be applied before booting OtherOS

What are XMB CFW settings?

CFW Settings v0.1 {xai_plugin) is an ultimate add-on for XMB, developed by mysis. This plugin disabled by default, however, can be enabled via Rebug Toolbox 2.02.15

How to Install a Plugin:

  • Copy plugin_name.sprx to you internal ps3 HDD (ex: /dev_hdd0/)
  • Create or Edit boot_plugins.txt in the root of the HDD (/dev_hd00/boot_plugins.txt) and add a line for the new plugin. Assuming you placed the sprx also in the root of the disk, add: /dev_hdd0/plugin_name.sprx)
  • Add a new line for each plugin

How to Install & Uninstall Rebug 4.82.2 Cobra 7.55 Lite Toolbox 2.02.15

Installation Process:

  • From XMB install REBUG 4.21.x and higher over any 3.55 OFW/CFW/MFW or the same or lower firmware version CFW with spkg sig check patched or any firmware version CFW with spkg sig check patched and QA enabled

Uninstallation Process:

  • From XMB Rebug 4.21.x and higher can be uninstalled with the same or higher firmware version OFW/CFW/MFW or with REBUG 3.55.x REX edition on a QA enabled PS3 or with the ‘999’ downgrader if QA was NOT enabled
